Accessibility statement
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Our standard
This website is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means, for example, that you should be able to:
- navigate the whole site using a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to main content” link
- use the site with a screen reader, with descriptive headings, links, image descriptions and form labels
- zoom text up to 200% and use the site on a small screen without content being lost
- read all text with sufficient colour contrast
- use the timetable as a proper data table rather than an image
- browse without animation if you have set your device to reduce motion
Known limitations
- Online registration uses ThinkSmart, a third-party system that we do not control. If you have difficulty with it, call or email us and we’ll register you directly.
- Google Maps, which loads only if you choose, may not be fully accessible. Each venue’s address is always shown as text.
Feedback and help
If you find a problem, or need information in a different format, please email info@mkdance.co.uk or call 07841 527 642. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
We are also happy to talk about access to our classes and venues, including support for dancers with special educational needs and disabilities.
How we tested this website
This website was tested in October 2026 with automated checks (Lighthouse and axe), keyboard-only use and screen reader spot checks. We will review it again whenever we make significant changes.
